The Wellness Mindset Program is designed by Rachel Yaseen, certified posture alignment specialist, yoga instructor, and sound bowl healing therapist with 20+ years of meditation practice & training. The Mindset Program, created over a period of 12 years, is a combination of Yaseen’s expertise in wellness and her years behind the bars — as a world touring bicyclist with more than 45,000 km under her belt.

The program is personalized for each guest with a possible combination of mindset, meditation, breathwork, yoga and posture alignment therapy as well as sound healing and therapeutic massage.

The mindset coaching program provides tools to change the way you see the world. The peaceful, serene environment of the Villas Sabai Jai is a perfect place to begin your exploration of yourself—what drives you, who do you want to be, and what will it take to get there. The program is for anyone who wants to improve their relationship with themselves and others. It is also for those experiencing stress, overwhelm, overthinking, anxiety, or depression.

Some of the tools include soul searching, meditation, breathwork, boundary and decision making models, and growth mindset strategies.

Private and group classes designed to learn how to meditate or enhance your meditation practice including tools to develop your own daily meditation practice. Some of the greatest benefits of meditation include: quieting the monkey mind, getting to know yourself better, improved sleep, better concentration, and calming the body.

Classes include Vipassana, Heart-based, Zen Buddhist, and self-inquiry.

BREATHWORK COACHING

Private and group breathwork classes include a series of breathing techniques to reduce stress, calm the mind, energize the body, bring clarity and inspiration. The peaceful, serene environment of the Villas Sabai Jai is a perfect place to begin your exploration of breathwork Breathwork is done by intentionally becoming aware of the breath and incorporating techniques that can lead to improved immune function, emotional regulation, stress management, and an improved quality of life. It is a great compliment to yoga practice, posture, and general movement and mobility.

Classes draw from several styles including pranayama, box breathing, transformational (ex. Wim Hoff inspired), DMT, CCB (Conscious Connected Breathing), and breath holds.

Additional benefits: increase focus and creativity, calm the mind and body, reduce stress, manage pain, strengthen the lungs, improve mood, improve sleep and digestion, and increase stamina and energy. Breathwork practice is excellent for scuba divers, free divers, yoga practitioners, and anyone who wants to gain the benefits listed above.

This is an opportunity to practice yoga and learn about your body while looking out over the ocean below with Koh Phangan on the horizon. The program includes personalized yoga sessions designed for YOUR body and goals. Maybe you want to work on your poses, or calm your mind, or learn proper alignment to avoid or attend to an injury. Including one or more of the following yoga styles: therapeutic alignment, yin, stretching, or focus on specific poses.

Here is your opportunity to relieve stress and anxiety, manage pain, improve your sleep, add more calm and relaxation in your life. Strengthen your body and calm your nervous system. Manage symptoms of pain and illness.

POSTURE COACHING

Private posture coaching is about restoring FLEXIBILITY, STABILITY, STRENGTH, & BALANCE so you can sit and move more freely.

The program is a combination of highly effective movements combined with breathing exercises. The program includes highly effective exercises to bring the body back into alignment and more physical well-being including static holds and high repetition of movements that remind the muscles how to move.

For many people of all ages, it is difficult to move freely and sit comfortably on the floor or even on a chair. This can be a major distraction during life— even just to sit for meditation and breathwork.

The program is for people of all ages, levels, and backgrounds.

Due to the combination of lack of motion in some body parts and and overuse due to repetition in other parts, the body loses alignment.

SOUND HEALING - Villa Sabai Jai Wellness Program for Holiday Travelers

SOUND HEALING

Sound healing treatments use the ancient hand crafted Tibetan singing bowls on and around the body generating sound and vibration as a form of healing. This includes brain wave relaxation, mind detoxification, hand & foot massage, and body alignment.

Benefits include deep relaxation, as well as relief of stress, emotional pain, physical pain, and physical ailments.

Based on the theory that vibration releases trapped energy that’s been stored around the body. With the bowls, vibrations are strategically sent through the body, massaging the cells, working out any stored up tension. Simultaneously, the range of frequencies emitted by the bowls has a calming effect, drawing the brain into the meditative, relaxed state.

Session includes an intention setting consult and full body treatment—9 bowls are placed on and around the body and played using the following techniques: brain wave relaxation, mind detoxification, hand & foot massage, and body alignment.

THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE

Our massage therapist, Linda, works directly with the posture and mindset coach to prescribe a massage program that will maximize healing and balance for the body and mind. Linda’s unique style is personalized to each clients specific body.
