TURTLE VILLA IN KOH TAO, THAILAND

In January we came with a group of 16 people to celebrate our wedding. We booked the Turtle, Gecco and Eagle Villa. It was our 4th time at Koh Tao, it was love at first sight, as it was with your Villas Åsa and Bob. You two made our wedding complete. Our stay startet pretty stormy and rainy, we arrived one day after the worst monsoon in 20 years, but beside the weather everything was perfect. Åsa and Bob are amazing hosts, they took care of us and our needs even before we arrived. We used Mr. Bears Taxiservice many times, it was really easygoing, we called Mr Bear from a mobile phone (every villa has one). He is honest and every time on time. We had our wedding reception at the Eagle Villa. It was the first wedding at the Eagle Villa, but Åsa and Bob meet Winnie our wedding planer in advance and the found solutions for everything. Our catering made Ed the owner of Barracuda Restaurant, it tasted amazing, Åsa and Bob recommend him for having a nice evening at the Villa with your own chef. Thank you so much Åsa and Bob for making our dream come true, our wedding reception was perfect. If we could we would never leave Villa Sabai Jai and Koh Tao ever again. Its perfect for large groups or a honeymoon. If you like you can stay the whole day in the Villas, you can order almost everything (food, massages, coconuts …) In the minibar you can find everything you like and the prices are more than faire. Wawa and Phyu the maids who are working at Villa Sabai Jai are amazing, helpful and adorable. There is nothing more to say than, book a trip to the Villas and feel the magic yourself. Thank you Åsa and Bob, we are coming back and we are looking forward to see you again.

My wife and I were married on Koh Tao in May 2016. We had a party of 30 guests with us from Australia and we decided to rent two of the Villas included in the Villa Sabai Jai portfolio, The Gekko and The Turtle Villa. These villas made the trip fantastic. Bob, the owner of the villas and his wife Asa were absolutely brilliant to deal with. 1st class communication and a warm approach to there guests. We rented both the villas for a week, all our friends were totally blown away by the area. We were lucky enough that Bob and his wife were on the island during our stay, they have the best restaurant recommendations and great local knowledge of the island. The service from the maids in the villas, room layouts, views and pools were all fantastic. I could not recommend these villas enough, the photos although fantastic do not do them justice. Highly recommended!

Undoubtedly the most beautiful place to rejuvenate and relax on beautiful Koh Tao island. Bob and Asa’s villas are perched on the cliff side with your very own infinity pool as your viewing platform. Just a warning, your private pool has an uninterrupted view of the great blue ocean and it serves up the most inspiring sunsets day after day…you may never want to leave!! My partner and I stayed in Gecko the first week (with a two other couples) and naturally we found ourselves ‘at home’. I think the combination of a comfortable bed and the stunning architecture had it’s influence. Inevitably, we extended our stay and placed ourselves in Turtle Villa for another week. Fancy that, we thought, staying on turtle island, in turtle villa and if you do stay here you might just find the third link to this chain…you will have to find out for yourselves. It is ideally placed out of the hustle and bustle of town…but not so far that you can’t jump on your motor bike or take a taxi into town for some of the best meals you can encounter on the islands in Thailand. Bob and Asa themselves are very down to earth people and will ensure your stay is just as you want it to be… I cannot recommend this place enough for your island retreat.

Take a look at the pictures, it really is that nice. Beatiful villa, very nicely decorated with an awesome view of the bay. We loved to lie in the private pool, under the stars, looking at the bay. Owners and the housekeeper was very friendly, and did everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We loved everything about our stay, and would love to stay again, if we come to Koh Tao.
